Kathleen Hubbard

Client Assistance Program (CAP) Advocate for Advocacy, Inc.

Kathleen Hubbard is a Client Assistance Program (CAP) Advocate for Advocacy, Inc., a civil rights agency that works for Texans with disabilities. Ms. Hubbard assists consumers in the Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) program to resolve issues at the lowest level possible. She has also worked with the VR program with Disability Assistance of Central Texas to support people with disabilities to find and keep employment.

Ms. Hubbard is originally from Washington D.C. and attended Marymount University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology with a Human Services emphasis. Her previous employment has included the Brain Injury Association of America and St. Luke’s House Inc. in Bethesda, MD as a Rehabilitation Coordinator.

Ms. Hubbard will explain the role of CAP and will provide information on the state VR program and self advocacy. Time will be reserved at the end for questions and answers.
