About Drew Scott Pearlman
Drew Scott Pearlman is a filmmaker and teacher who has spent the last 10 years living and making films in Massachusetts and Southern California. He’s written and directed projects in all genres including documentary, action and animation. The Great Lesson is his most recent project and marks a new direction for the filmmaker. Drew sees The Great Lesson as the first in a series of films that inspires and shows people how powerful they really are. His next film The Healing Effect explores the healing and life changing power of food. In his own life, Drew draws inspiration from the speakers in his films as well as his young son. Drew also practices yoga, meditation, play and following his bliss on a daily basis.
About the Film
The Great Lesson is a provocative new film about the unlimited boundaries of mind and body. A world renowned martial art masters, a T’ai Chi and dance visionary, a cell biologist, a sports psychologist, a holistic psychotherapist, an executive business coach, a Harvard professor and an inspiring self-healer all contribute their expertise and vision into the making of this film. Drew uses his artistic talent to skillfully solicit the input from each person to help better understand the meaning and importance of The Great Lesson This 45 minute film does an excellent job of explaining in plain language the connection between the mind and the body. In simple and understandable terms a wide variety of experts explain how our thoughts translate into actions and influences others. This film empowers a person to make mindful changes in their own life resulting in a more productive and enjoyable lifestyle. The Great Lesson is a simple yet inspiring film with a Great Message!
